I'm the owner of Stay Awhile Designs. I believe a beautiful home should feel just as good to live in as it looks, which is why my approach to design always starts with real life: how you move through a space, where everyone gathers, what makes you want to stay awhile.
About Me
My Style
My style is warm and collected. Never too precious. I love mixing old and new, bringing in texture and character without feeling overly "done." Catch me at the flea market and antique malls with my arms full of treasures. In my own home, I lean moody with a heavy mix of modern, vintage, kid art, and TONS of cozy throw pillows. I want you to walk through your front door and feel what I feel when I walk through mine: this home could only belong to me.
Experience
I've spent over a decade designing and renovating homes including my own investment properties. One of my last flips was featured on Magnolia Network's Beachfront Bargain Hunt: Renovation. My work spans from full kitchen and bath renovations to furnishing and finishing details. I've learned that great design is equal parts creativity, problem-solving, and surrounding yourself with an excellent team.
